Solar Boaventura

Solar Boaventura is a small rural quinta in Madeira’s Ribeira da Boaventura valley.

Spread across three levels, the quinta’s en-suite rooms have either sea views or mountain views; the latter looking out towards the impressive Arco da Sao Jorge escarpment which dominates the Boaventura’s skyline. The ground floor rooms have small private terraces overlooking the gardens. The décor’s cosy, with dark cedar floors, simple pastel shades and traditional-style furniture. The quinta’s small inner-courtyard has a permanent display of Madeiran agricultural artefacts, with a guest lounge on the 1^st floor, and the restaurant has a rustic, traditionally-Madeiran menu. There’s also a more-modern extension which houses the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

We’ll normally recommend including a hire car during your stay – to give you the freedom to explore the beautiful mountains, cliffs and secluded bays of North-east Madeira.
